Kerry Duane Monroe, 50, of Smiths Grove died Thursday, March 28, 2002 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Keith Derling Monroe and Arlene Pillars Monroe. He was an employee of the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green and a member of the UAW.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his wife Colleen Shabeeb; one son: Duane James Monroe and his wife Amy of School Craft. Michigan; one daughter: Cathy Monroe of Hudsonville, Michigan; two brothers: Ron Monroe and his wife Rebecca of Troy, Montana and Mark Monroe and his wife Cheryl of Newaygo, Michigan; one sister: Linda Monroe of Prasco, Arkansas; four nephews: David Vasicek and his wife Renee of Grandrapids, Michigan, Hassett Monroe of Montana State University, Mark and Keith Monroe of Newaygo, Michigan; one niece: Deanetta McCauldy and her husband Sean of Denver, Colorado; one step-nephew: Scott Wismar of Newaygo, Michigan and one step-niece Becky Ech of Newaygo, Michigan.<\/p>\n
