Jimmy “Bobo” Smith

Jimmy James Chester “Bobo” Smith, 74, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his residence. He was a son of the late William Carl Smith and Bessie Marie Settles Smith. He was a member of the Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by three brothers: Ronnie Smith and his wife Sheila, Roger Smith and his wife Jeanette, Victor Smith; one sister: Connie Parrett and her husband Glen; special care givers: Leonard and Brandy Ballard; lifelong companion: Kay Chapman; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Freddie Smith, Richard Smith and Donnie Ray Smith; two sisters; Genene Chapman and Bonnie Gale Smith.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Tracy Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 am Sunday until time for services.
I was so sorry to read of Jimmy’s death. I have known Jimmy and his family my entire life. My sympathy to all the family.
