Louise Katherine Devasher, 88, Glasgow, died Thursday, January 15, 2015, at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Annie Porter Houchens. She was a homemaker, a seamstress, and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son: Tony Devasher; two grandsons: Andy Devasher and his wife Jessica, and Noah Devasher; one great-grandson: Easton Devasher; the grandchildren’s mother: Kelly Rene Jackson; all of Glasgow; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Arnold “Bill” Devasher; two sisters: Anna Lee Shelton and Margaret Houchens; three brothers: Ewell Clifton Houchens, J. T. Houchens, and Ernest Houchens.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
