Paul Turner McGuire, 87, Glasgow, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Henry and Nellie Turner McGuire. Mr. McGuire was a retired farmer and a United States Army Veteran of WWII.

Survivors include one son, Larry McGuire and his wife, Charlotte, of Glasgow; one daughter, Ann Starr and her husband, Steve, of Glasgow; two grandsons, Timothy Starr (Ashley Waters) and Bryan Starr (Cathy); two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Blake Starr; two step-grandchildren, Rhonda Morrison and Melissa Kilbourne; two sisters, Becky Carey and husband, Rollie, and Mary Helen Shader, all of Glasgow; 6 step-great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Shader McGuire.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
