Doris J. Moore

          Doris Jean Moore, 71, Glasgow, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.  A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Orby and Lula Bell Staples Whitlow.  She was a homemaker.

          Survivors include her husband Larry Todd; three children: Tony Moore (Brandy), Tonya Moore, and Jeanie Burnett (Damean); two step-children: Michael Todd (Heather) and Kim Houchens (Chris); three sisters: Diana Spillman (David), Beverly Nelson, and Lisa Neal (Cotton); two brothers: David Whitlow and Jimmy Whitlow; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, along with her beloved feline companion Precious.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Dale; one step-daughter, Tina Todd; and three brothers: Donnie Whitlow, Billy Whitlow (Sharon), and Mike Whitlow.

          Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and continue Sunday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
