Carolyn was the kind of person you knew was destined for heaven. She showed kindness, warmth and a friendly attitude to anyone she met. I never heard her say a unkind word about anyone. Singing with her in college choir was a privilege. Knowing her as a person was a honor. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and know that heaven has truly gained an angel.

  9. Kendra Atkinson says:

Cousin Carolyn was only 7 years older than me, and I admired and looked up to her my whole life from afar. Being from California we never had a chance to be close, but that did not matter to Carolyn, she had love enough to include me in the circle of family she cared for, near or far. Such a light she was! I followed her triumphs and sorrows and triumphs through the years and I always pulled for her, and she for all of us. I know she loved Jesus and her children more than anything in this world, and I wish you all comfort and the strength to live your lives as she lived; courageously.

  10. Phyllis says:

My heart like many others are saddened by the loss of Carolyn but find comfort in knowing she has gained her heavenly home. She was one of the first people to make me feel welcome at Warren County DCBS. We became friends and stayed in touch even met up with each other from time to time and shared things that were going on in our lives. Will, Tiffany and Amanda were always a part of our conversation as well as her grandchildren she loved you all beyond measure. I will always think of her when I see butterflies. May peach and comfort help the family as they go through this difficult time. I love you Carolyn and will see you again someday.
