Gary, you were one of the kindest individuals that I’ve ever known in my life. When I first met you at Jr. Foods when you were just a kid, I knew you’d had some tough breaks in your life, but you always had a cheerful and optimistic attitude and never had anything but a kind word for anyone.

Although we couldn’t figure it out, I was always proud to claim kin to you. I’m sure that your reward is great. Rest well, my dear friend.

Nancy, I cannot imagine the pain that you’re going through right now. Our prayers are with you and your family now for strength and comfort. I just learned tonight of Gary’s passing and won’t be able to come to the funeral tomorrow. My heart is with you and your family at this difficult time.

To the family of Gary : Words can never ease your pain but I do pray that God will give you the peace and comfort that only he can. Gary was my first ever baby sitting job many years ago. Before he ever started to school. He was always such a happy little boy and I often wondered what ever happened to him and how he was doing. I will never forget walking him to the store everyday to buy candy with his money that he would bring. He was so loving and caring for others even as a little boy. May God comfort you all.

All of my memories of Gary from birth on are of a kind and caring boy and then man. We saw him often when he was working in Bowling Green and I’m thankful for every memory. I have a son who reminds me so much of Gary and that is a wonderful thing. Gary was so caring and considerate of people. I am so glad he had such a good life with so many friends and loving wife and daughter. I wish you and Kristen nothing but loving memories to warm your hearts and strength for the coming days. Thank you for giving my dear cousin such a good life with so much love.
I didn’t hear about Gary till this morning and reached the funeral just to get seated and didn’t get to speak with you. Kristen’s letter was so touching. I know she meant the world to him.

I always thought the world of Gary (we called him ‘Den-Den’) and he was a really good and faithful friend and always so kind! I pray the peace of Jesus for you and your daughter. Again, please know of my deep grief.
