Anna Parker Hogan

Anna Parker Hogan, 79, Albany, died peacefully Monday, December 19, 2016, at Hospice House in Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Frances Martin Parker. She was formerly the Treasurer of Hart County for many years. She was kind, compassionate, a good listener, and a lover of animals. She had been attending the Albany Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Charles Terry Hogan, and her twin sister Alice Parker Strader (Jimmy).

She is survived by her three nieces whom she also considered her own children: Jimmie Lou Strader Johnson of Bowling Green, Kathy Strader Holl of Laguna Niguel, CA, and Allison Strader of Scottsville, KY; her great niece Sarah Holl Beckett, great-great nephew Harper Beckett and great-great niece Grace Beckett all of Laguna Niguel, CA.

A gathering of family and friends for a time of sharing remembrances will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice or to BRAWA.
