Marie Almajean Moran Pace, 80, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016, at her residence. The daughter of the late Henry Watson Moran and Annie Pearl Shirley Moran, she was a former sales clerk at Glasgow National Stores and later an employee in the Accounting Department of South Central Rural Telephone Cooperative, from which she retired in 1993. She was a longtime member of the Neal’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was the wife of an elder and also actively served in all areas of the church’s work. She was preceded in death by her husband James Buell Pace on March 18, 2016.

Survivors include two daughters: Sheila Faye Reece and husband David, and Shirley Ann Ross and husband David; six grandchildren: Amy Nichole Reece Brown and husband Steve Franklin Brown, Jeremy David Reece and wife Sondra, Daniel Owens Reece, Adam Bryant Ross, Travis James “T.J.” Ross, Kylie Ann Ross; one sister-in-law: Lois Pace Norman of Glasgow; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
