Cecil G. Edwards

Cecil G. Edwards, 83, Savoyard, died Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at his residence. He was the son of the late Henry Guy Edwards and Mamie Akin Edwards. He was a lifetime farmer who loved to hunt, fish, and raise huge gardens to feed the entire family and neighborhood.
Cecil is survived by his wife of 33 years Dorothy Morgan Edwards; two sisters: Evelyn Poynter of Knob Lick and Janice Faye Norris of Glasgow; two daughters: Gail Lyle, wife of the late Timmy Lyle, of Legrande, and Sandy Pennington, wife of Stevie Pennington, of Center; five sons: Dan Turner and wife Brenda of Georgetown, Bobby Edwards and wife Penny of Center, Ricky Edwards and wife Patricia of Hiseville, Preston Edwards of Edmonton, and Bryan Edwards of Three Springs; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Gail sorry for the loss of your dad I just found out and missed the funeral sure thought a lot of him remember when he use to work with daddy in the shop we joked and cut up sure do miss the old days
