Earl Loyd Guthrie, 75, Glasgow, died Saturday, June 18, 2106, in Glasgow. A native of Cumberland County, he was a son of the late Orlan and Nancy Flowers Guthrie. He was a retired farmer and a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era, and was a member of the Masons.

Survivors include his wife Marie; three adopted children; many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother: Franklin Hall Guthrie and one sister: Hettie Mae Collins.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Both Dusrin and Katie loved coming to visit with you and Earl with Jerry when they were little. Thanks for all the good memories you guys helped make for them.
