Carolyn Sue Benham
August 29, 1945 ~ June 11, 2016
Carolyn Sue Benham, 70, of Glasgow, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Myrtle Rich Kendall. She was a secretary at B&S Garage and a member of the Columbia Avenue Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband: Frankie Junior Benham; one son: Charles Benham and his wife Susan; one daughter: Teresa Hatchett; four grandchildren: Frankie Wood, Beau Benham and his wife Ollie, Courtney Benham and Lukas Benham; one great grandchild: Logan Benham.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother: Ronnie Kendall.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
So SORRY to hear of Carolyn’s passing. She was a VERY FINE LADY. I have known her for years and also use to see her frequently at HENDRICKS CREEK DOCK. She sure seemed happy and content at the boat and at the lake and with anything to do with her family.

Frank and family please know that she will be so missed. She had such a way of making all new comers to the lake family feel welcome and loved. We have so many good memories of both of you and send our prayers for the tough days ahead.

Dan and I are so sorry to hear of your families loss. Dan and I just spoke of Carolyn last week. She always had a joke for us when we walked past your boat to get to ours. She was our welcome committee. May you feel Gods peace !!

Carolyn brought great joy and love to everyone she meet. She will be missed and will remain in the hearts of all she knew. Her family made her proud and she loved you all so much. I will miss her great stories and her love.

The Benham Bunch, we are so very sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful lady who made everyone smile and laugh. We enjoyed the time spent with her at the lake and how she made everyone feel like family. She touched so many lives. Thoughts and prayers for your family. It is not real to me yet but I know she is at peace in the arms of her mother and father. Carolyn loved life and had a way of bringing others together. We all shared many weekends, doing what we loved and those memories sustain me. Rest in peace dear friend. You are greatly loved and will be truly missed.
