Charles Danny Hicks

Charles Danny Hicks, 65, Glasgow, died Monday, May 2, 2016, at his residence. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Charles Wesley Hicks and Dovie Lee Medley Hicks Gassaway. He was a retired Agent for Independent Life Insurance, an avid fan of motorcycles, gardening and farming, and a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son: Jason D. Hicks; two step-daughters: Cynthia Spears and Haley Creek; eight grandchildren: Wesley Hicks and wife Holly, Charlie Hicks, Jacob Hicks, Burgundy Spears, Aspen Spears, Grace Spears, Chastity Creek, and Chelsea Creek; one niece: Sue Hicks; two nephews: Gary Hicks and Tony Hicks; and his best friend: Ronnie Elmore. He was preceded in death by one brother: Edward Hicks.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
