Suzanne, Melanie, Pam, and Kevin I am so very sorry for your loss. I thought so very highly of Bill. He was quite influential to me when I was growing up at church and singing in the choir. Some of my fondest memories are of Sunday mornings sitting by him on the organ bench and turning pages for him. He even taught me how to play that organ! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Suzanne, Melanie, Pam, Kevin and families: We considered Bill a good friend over the years…one who took an interest in my husband becoming a U.S. citizen. We will never forget his encouragement during that time. I’ve also known Bill through Glasgow Musicale–he seldom, if ever, missed an event. Each of you are in our prayers. Our hearts grieve with you in your loss.

For those of us who had Mr Waldrop in class at Park City High School, we have lost a genuine friend. He and Suzanne always were invited and attended our Class of ’68 reunions. I will always be grateful for his typing class held in the trailer outside the school building. Little did I realize how valuable that would be to me, and we did not even dream that it would be so useful for our computers of today ???? Mr Waldrop, you will be greatly missed. He always had a big happy smile. Prayers and thoughts for his family!! ????????????????

Suzanne, so sorry to learn of Bill’s passing. Just a note to explain how I knew Bill, to me he
was an upperclassman. He and my sister, Gladys Neagle Trice, graduated from PCHS when I was in seventh grade. Gladys passed a way May 2014. She always enjoyed seeing you two at the reunions. My family always appreciated the care and financial understanding the Waldrop Funeral Home showed to my mother at the death of our dad in 1964. You were truly a special part of the Park City community. God bless you.

  16. Linda Fox says:

Suzanne, it’s hard to say goodbye to my friend and neighbor. We have had many laughs and good times. One of my fondest (and funniest) memories was of the class play in in 1958. I don’t think there are any of us still living that will ever forget that time. I’m glad you and Bill (and his Mom and Dad)l were our neighbors for so many years. He is a special part of my memories. My love to you and the family.
