Eugene Kingrey

February 4, 1927     ~     November 1, 2015

Eugene Kingrey, 88, formerly of Glasgow, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Greenwood Rehabilitation Center. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Edgar and Dovie Chapman Kingrey.

He was a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force, having served during WW II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Kiwanis, the Flying Scotsman Dance Band, and the Glasgow Community Band.

Survivors include his son Kevin Kingrey and wife Marsha of Bowling Green; two brothers: Buck Kingrey and Paul Kingrey and wife Thelma; a sister-in-law: Jo Pedigo and husband Johnny; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty G. Underwood Kingrey, and one sister: Leona Sharp.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 Thursday until time for service at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to BRAWA or to the BG-Warren County Humane Society.
