Words will never be enough to express the love for Doris that we have. Since the first day I met her there has never been a moment where she didn’t have anything good to say. Even in her darkest moments of finding out she wouldn’t be living much longer, she still said nothing negative. She was a trooper from the first day I met her until today. She always put everyone before herself. She even passed that attitude down to her children and grandchildren. She and I spoke often of God and about the fact that she didn’t get to go to church because she wouldn’t leave Richard. She talked to me about being saved and I would say how beautiful Heaven was going to be and she’d agree. She would talk about how great it was to know Richard was going to be okay and taken care of. She praised those that had been around so much getting her from one appointment to the next. A Humble Angel is in Heaven now with my Bailey and I bet is chatting away and laughing with no help breathing or coughing, pure peace. I love you all and am so sorry that I couldn’t be there.

Heaven is a little sweeter with Doris there. She’s not in pain & rejoicing with out Lord. There wasnt a much better woman than Doris. I moved away for several years then came back home. I saw her one day at the Dollar Store I hadn’t seen her in years but she knew who i was & we talked for awhile. I never saw her what she didnt have a kind word. A truly great woman was lost today but oh what she & Heaven gained. My sympathies & prayers to the family that God will see you through & give you comfort.
