Larry Wayne Delk, 68, Austin, died Thursday, June 18, 2015, at his residence. A native of Glasgow, he was a son of the late Philip and Lela Mae Boone Delk. He was a 1965 graduate of Glasgow High School and a retired employee of Dana Corporation. He had previously worked at the Barren River Boat Dock, was formerly a member of the Jaycees, and a member of the Barren River Rod and Gun Club. He loved anything that was UK, and loved watching ballgames of any kind on television.

Survivors include his daughter Kim Delk Sanderson and husband Scotty; a special son: Cortney Austin and wife Brittany; a niece: Rita Walden; a nephew: Philip Lewis Delk; an aunt: Marie Elmore; a step-niece: Denise Todd and husband Wayne; a sister-in-law: Patricia Delk; and his beloved Chihuahuas: Gizmo and Radar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Cathy Austin Delk; Kim’s Mother: Annette Albany Delk; his three brothers: Muncie Delk, James L. Delk, and Jeffrey Delk.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
