Cecil Owen Garrett, born February 7, 1936 in Glasgow, KY went home to be with his Savior on April 30, 2015. “He’s ready, ain’t he?”

He was very much loved by everyone that knew him. Cecil enjoyed fishing and hunting and being with family and friends. By now, he’s probably made a Kajillion friends !! He was an “innovator”—always working on a project. Cecil retired from Inland Container Corp. in Louisville, KY.

He is survived by his dear wife Patty; children: Alan (Marsha), Bill (Naomi), Mike (Lisa), and Debbie (Gary); two step-daughters: Shelly (Mark) and Carrie (Leonard); one step-son: Jason (Amy); 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Ministries Church in Legrande with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
