Robert N. “Bobby” Bishop, Jr., 59, Glasgow, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015, as a result of an automobile accident. A native of Glasgow, he was the son of Mary Edna Stephens Bishop and the late Robert N. Bishop, Sr. He was a graduate of Glasgow High School, a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Kentucky Motorcycle Association, and had worked as an appraiser with his Father.

Survivors include his mother: Mary Edna Bishop of Glasgow; one sister: Sharon Bishop Gilson and husband, Ian Scott Gilson of Glasgow; special son: Chad Smith and wife Jessica of Glasgow; special grandchildren: Andrew and Alexis; special friend: Linda Sue Valentine of Glasgow; two nieces: Katie Gilson Shepard and husband Van of Midway, KY, and Emily Gilson Knight and husband Tyler of Louisville; one nephew: Ian N. Gilson of Glasgow; two great-nieces: Mary Emerson Shepard and Hadley Lynn Knight; one uncle: Johnny Lee Stephens of New Mexico.

A celebration of Bobby’s Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. There will be no prior visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors or the Midway Island Reunion, c/o Ann Stewart, 118 E. Public Square, Glasgow, KY 42141.

We are helping Ronnie’s mother who is temporarily staying with us due to water problems under her home that has affeced her COPD.
