Virginia Elizabeth Parker Keown
July 4, 1957 ~ November 3, 2014
Virginia Elizabeth Parker Keown, 57, of Louisville, formerly of Glasgow, returned to her heavenly Father on November 3, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin Raymond “Jack” and Mary Lewis Eaton Parker.
She is survived by her husband: James Randall Keown, Sr.; one step-son: Jamie Keown (Becky); five brothers: Jimmy Parker (Kathy), Willie Parker (Brenda), Donald Parker (Carolyn), Depp Lee Parker and Charles Parker (Margie); three sisters: Rosemary Parker Childers, Laura Parker Marr and Ruby Parker Adams; two step-grandchildren: Courtney Keown and Brooke Keown. Several nieces, nephew and cousins also survive.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister: Margaret Ann Parker Houchens; two brothers: Harry Thomas Parker and Billy Raymond Parker
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. C.S.T. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Parker Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. C.S.T. Wednesday at the funeral home.

My sweet loving sister Virginia. I am missing you so very much. Yo r beautiful smile I will have in my heart everyday of my life. We have shared so many wonderful times together . I am so very proud of you and I am so blessed to have had you for my sister . Though you have left me for a little while we will see each other again. Our family will truly miss her soft smile and gentle laugh. She will always be loved and the wonderful memories we have will be in our hearts forever. I thank God that he brought Virginia into my life when I married her brother, Willie. I like what Sharen Harper quoted so well before me, “You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived.” ‘Til we meet again on the other side…
