Louis Pace

Louis Pace, 87, Glasgow, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2014. He was born on September 28, 1927 to the late Roy Edison and Lena Williams Pace.
Louis grew up on his family farm in Lecta, KY, and professed faith in Christ at an early age. After serving in World War II, he was employed as a store manager for A & P Grocery in Campbellsville. Later, he returned to Glasgow and was co-owner of the Dairy-O Drive In. Following his retirement, he enjoyed working at George J’s where there was always warm coffee, ice cream, and good conversation. He was an avid golfer and coin collector, and enjoyed being outdoors.
He is survived by one son Alan Pace and wife Palvena of Campbellsville; three granddaughters: Jane Ashley Pace and Lindsay Pace Clements and husband Thomas all of Lexington, and Leslie Pace Davis and husband Chris of Campbellsville; two great-granddaughters: Parker Kate and Pace McCall Davis; one brother: James Pace and wife Marie of Glasgow; one sister: Lois Pace Norman of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Edna Crenshaw Pace; an infant son: Gregory; one sister: Margaret Imogene Pace; three brothers: Jewell Pace, Harold Pace, and Noble Pace.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Neal’s Chapel Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
