Joseph Fayette Thomas, 66, a native of Glasgow, died Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the University Medical Center in Lebanon, TN. A son of the late Columbus and Caroline Evans Thomas, he was a retired employee of an aircraft manufacturing plant and was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Joyce Woods Thomas; his children: Rebecca Mora (Will), Carla Roe (Junior), Bonnie Zinman (Michael), Mary Elizabeth Barrett (Jerry Lynn), and Melinda Wetnight; his sister: Judy Carol Wilson (Dean); 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Stephen Thomas and David Thomas.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
