Larry Thomas Bybee, 59, Glasgow, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the VA Medical Center in Louisville. He was a son of Marjorie Wilson Bybee and the late Thomas D. Bybee of Glasgow. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran.

Survivors include his mother Marjorie Bybee of Glasgow; one daughter: Tina Bybee and two granddaughters: Jade Neat and Tori Barnes all of Summerville, South Carolina; three sisters: Dorothy Gilmore and husband James, and Phyllis McNeil all of Indianapolis, IN, and Sandra Lewis and husband Charles of Bowling Green; a special niece: Tabitha Tisdale of Glasgow; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Herman Armstrong, Nathaniel Bybee, Alvin Bybee, and Nathan Bybee.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Pleasant Oak Ridge Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Military honors will be provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

    Daddy I just want to say that the girls and I love you so much. I’m just so sorry that you had to leave so soon. I still can’t believe you’re gone. You were such a good man and I thank God for allowing me to spend your last days on earth with you. The girls and I love you, miss you and we will see you AGAIN.

    I Love You Grandaddy. You are one of the strongest people ive ever known, even in you’re last days you proved to me that you were a fighter. I’ll miss hearing from you, seeing you when I could and our talks about Monday Night Raw. I’ll treasure our last memories together forever. I love you and I’ll be missing you.
