Doris Elizabeth Nicholson Unser, 68, Glasgow, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at her residence. A native of Jefferson County, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy Odell Davis Nicholson and James Thomas Nicholson, Sr. She was a retired employee of Comfort Inn of Glasgow and had been attending Cave City Christian Church.

Survivors include three sisters: Shirley Poynter and Margie Hiser and husband Cecil of Glasgow, and Ina Pearl Thomas and husband Mike of Pleasureville, KY; one brother: Jim Nicholson and wife Joy of Jeffersonville, IN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Philip “Pete” Unser.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
