December 27, 1944     ~     April 10, 2014

Robert “Bob” D. Christensen, 69, went home to rest in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 10, 2014, from his Glasgow residence. A native of Eureka, California, he was a son of the late Karl and Katherine L. Chase Christensen. He was a retired manager of Tile Trends in Bowling Green and was a member of Whites Chapel Church.

Survivors include his wife Mary L. Christensen; his children: John and Mary R. Christensen, Paul and Cindy Christensen, Sean R. Christensen, Karl and Rose Christensen, Tamar and Randy Fallows, Kevin and Tiffany Christensen, Paula and Corey Gerkin, Angela and Neal Chapman, Michelle and Rob Meredith, and Edward Anderson; one brother: David L. Christensen of California; five sisters: Karen R. Briggs, Nancy Mossman, Teri Ann Branch, Delores “D D” Holst, and Arlene “Tink” Hoey, all of California; 28 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one brother: Albert B. Christensen; and an infant sister: Laurie Christensen.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

    Mary, words cannot begin to tell you how sorry that I am for your loss. Only GOD can and will be the comfort that you need.     Mary , Sorry to hear of your loss, Bob was my supervisor at Darts for a lot of years . He was a kind and understanding man And i will never forget him. I know it is difficult to see beyond the sorrow , but looking back in memory will help comfort you tomorrow . God bless you and your family

    Oh the memories I hold deep within my heart. Holding on to those I can close my eyes and see his amazing smile and hear that endearing laugh and hear him say “you will always be my little sis, I Love you.”
    My heart can smile within knowing that Bob as left this earth to be with our heavenly father. No more pain and suffering here on earth but joining the angels in heaven above.
