Lonnie W. Bunch

September 27, 1928     ~     March 15, 2014

Lonnie W. Bunch, 85, Glasgow, passed away March 15, 2014 at his home. He was a Korean War Veteran and had received a Purple Heart after being hurt in the war. He farmed all his life and had worked many years at Greenleaf Nursery. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include six children: Michael Bunch, Diana Ashford and husband Dan, Philip Bunch and wife Dorothy, Sharon Siddens and husband Alan, Paul Bunch and wife Judy, David Bunch and wife Tina; one sister: Joyce Shives; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-three years, Mary Jane Bunch; she passed away January 25, 2014. He was also preceded in death by one grandson: Christopher Ashford; one daughter-in-law: Judy Bunch; his parents: James and Lottie Bunch; one sister: Doris Coffey; and three brothers: James O. Bunch, B. S. Bunch, and Donald Bunch.

Cremation was chosen. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is in charge. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
