Leland Junior Irwin

Leland Junior Irwin, 76, of Glasgow, finished his race and has entered into eternity with his savior Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of the late Leland Irwin and Elnora Ferguson Irwin. He was saved and baptized at Big Meadow Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Josephine Powell Irwin; seven children: Gary Irwin, Michael Irwin “Cherri”, David Irwin “Marla”, Steve Irwin “Laura”, Daphne Wood “Bobby”, Chris Irwin “Kimberly and Sandra Irwin; fourteen grandchildren: Daniel Irwin, Stephanie Fitzgerald, Joshua Irwin, Cody Irwin, Mika Irwin, Anthony Irwin, A. J. Irwin, Jonathan Irwin, Ryan Irwin, Holly Irwin, Colton Irwin, Benjamin Wood, Bethany Wood and Levi Irwin; five great-grandchildren: Bentley Irwin, Drake Irwin, Addison Irwin, Brianna Irwin and Leighton Fitzgerald.
Besides is parents he was preceded in death by his brother: Ben Irwin; two sisters: Olene Shirrell and Shelia Irwin; two great-grandchildren: Mason Tucker Irwin and Eli Nathaniel Irwin
Funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 P. M. Thursday at the funeral home.
