Sammy Joel Kissee

Sammy Joel Kissee, 66, Byrdstown, TN, died Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Livingston Regional Hospital. A native of Danville, IL, he was a son of the late Robert and Flossie Burkett Kissee. He was a maintenance superintendent for Alcoa, an avid hunter, lifetime member of the NRA, a Marine, having served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1969.
Survivors include his wife Laverne Hatcher Kissee; one daughter: Pamela Rector and husband Kenny of Lafayette, IN; two granddaughters: Kendra and Maegan Rector; three step-children: Tony Robertson and wife Kim of Glasgow, Mary Lois Robertson of Sulphur Well, and Jackie Evans of Indiana.
A memorial service will be held in Indiana at a later date. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
