Louise Ball Kidd, Glasgow, died Monday, September 16, 2013, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. A native of Metcalfe County, she was the daughter of the late Cleo and Annis Glass Ball. She was a retired seamstress at Ky. Pants Company, a long-time member of the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a member of Glasgow Chapter 257 of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Glasgow Garden Club, and an avid quilter and lover of flowers.

Survivors include her husband: Verlon Kidd; one son: Steve Kidd and his wife Lois; one grandson: Nathan Leigh Kidd; two great-granddaughters: Courtney Kidd and Casey Kidd, all of Glasgow; along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Howard Ball and Bernice Ball.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, with Eastern Star services being held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Kosair Charities.
