Anita Rose Campbell, 79, Park City, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at her residence. A native of Clinton County, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Estel and Gena Lorene Guinn Gibson. She was a homemaker, a retired employee of Glasgow Dairy Queen, and a member of the Glasgow Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include her husband: George L. Campbell; her children: Eugene Campbell and wife Connie; Diana Alane Campbell; David Campbell and wife Barbara; and Sheila Miller; two sisters: Irene Pedigo and husband Turner, and Jean Chase; two brothers: Gilbert Gibson and wife Bonnie, and Steve Gibson; eleven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Larry Miller; one brother: Noel Gibson; and one brother-in-law: Alex Chase.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

She had a be a “terrific mom” to have a son like Dave, our friend and pastor that we love very much.     George and famiily, You will probably not remember me but I went to church with you all at Glasgow First. I thought so muchof both of you. Rose was a very good Christian lady. I now live in Monticello, Kentucky. I attend the Monticello Church of the Nazarene. I will be praying for your family. I know you will miss her very much but heaven is a greater place because of her life. All of my family has passed away and I hope to see them again someday. I have said a prater for you all today.
