Margaret “Peggy” Hurt
August 6, 1936 ~ April 17, 2013
Margaret “Peggy” Hurt, 76, of Hiseville, Kentucky, joined her parents Terry and Stella Christie Hurt in Heaven on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
She is survived by one brother: Kenneth Hurt; two sister-in-laws: Dean Hurt and Barbara Hurt. She was loved and adored by many nephews and nieces: Wayne Hurt, Terri Wilcox, Diane White, Cynthia Logsdon, Keith Hurt, Amie Hurt, Miranda Hurt, Tristan Hurt James Russell White, Kennedy Logsdon, Jared Hurt, Jess White, Chandler Hutten, Leah White, Avery Logsdon, Riley Hurt, Maggie Hutten, Rhayna Hurt and one great-great-great niece Madelyn Bodifay. Along with her family she will be mourned by several close friends in her community and her classmates of Hiseville High School 1960.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her older brother: James Robert Hurt.
Funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
I am so sorry not to be able to attend Peggy’s funeral but found out too late to make arrangements to get to BG in time. I visited Peggy in March and am so glad I did that as I had not seen her for awhile. As always she talked about memories of our highschool days. I will miss the phone calls she made when she could. She always looked so forward to our class reunions. She will be sadly missed at our next one. I made pictures the day I visited her and had them ready to send to her.when Jean called to tell me she had died. She is in a peaceful place and for that we can all be grateful.
