Lucy Kathleen Cummins, 92, Glasgow, died Thursday, February 21, 2013, at the NHC Healthcare Center. The Barren County native was a daughter of the late Herschel and Darah Thomerson Morrison and the wife of the late Clarence Cummins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Willie Dee Morrison, George Morrison, and James Morrison; and 2 sisters, Eunice Shipley and Opal Chambers. Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Columbia Avenue Church of Christ and retired from General Telephone Company in 1970.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and continue until funeral time.

    Sorry that I couldn’t be there for my cousins. I loved “Aunt Kack” and always called her by that name because that is what you 3 called her. She was always so kind to all of us and we loved her. I love all of you!

    So very sorry for your loss, Kathleen was such a sweet lady, I know she is in a much better place and not in any pain. I am sorry for not attending service, didn’t realize the time would be so soon and I didn’t know till 2 on sat. She made my Uncle Clarence a very happy man, he loved her dearly as she him. Rest in peace Aunt Kathleen.
