J.O., Bob and families: As hard as it is to loose your Mother, I feel certain she is at rest now with all suffering gone. It was very hard to give up my Mother but watching her suffer for nearly 8 years allowed the sting of death to be lessened…especially with the passing of time. Another help is that my three brothers and I have stayed close through the illness, death and things related to the estate. Hope your families can do the same and I am sure you will. God bless you all and keep in mind this life is not all there is to consider or we would be most miserable. I do believe as did your Mother that the life to come is worth all the suffering we go through now. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will give us hope for eternity. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) Greg and Sandy Compton

Bob, we are so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a very sweet lady.Try to hold on to the thought that she is with the ones who went before her and probably running through the fields with a dog by her side. We love you and wish we could be there with you.

James , Robert , Carolyn and families ,
Just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing …. All my life I knew her as ” Bob ” . I worked for several years with her at Handmacher’s …. My parents used to run around with Bob and Veachel when I was a little girl .. several years ago my Mom wanted to see her ( now this was when Bob was still on 249 ) so we went to the house and I stayed in the car …Mom got out and Bob didn’t have any idea who she was until I got out of the car…when she realized who Mom was , she grabbed Mom and they cryed like babies…will never forget that type of friendship .. Always keep memories of her and the good times that you shared …God Bless all of you .
