Lawrence Clayton Parker, 67, Cave City, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Greenwood Health Care Center in Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Lawrence Houston and Alice Ann Ballard Parker. He was a retired farmer and a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.

Survivors include one son, Steven Clay Parker and wife Amanda of Cave City; one step-son, Ernie Lee Staples and wife Mary of Cave City; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Parker, Ashley Dennison, Tonya Dennison, Brittany Dennison and Chelsia Minks; two brothers, Lawrence Clavon Parker and William Clavon Parker; three sisters, Mary Emma Parker, Judy (Wayne) Price, and Susie Gill; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
