Delilah Brown

Delilah Ruth Brown, 74, Smiths Grove, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, in Bowling Green. A daughter of the late Braxton and Lucy Bradley Lee, she was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include four children, Ruby Neighbors (David), James Robert “Bobby” Brown, Jr., and Della Mae Gaskin all of Bowling Green, and Garnett Lee Brown of Glasgow; one step-daughter, Betty Irene Ewing (Roy) of Ohio; 8 grandchildren, Michael Dale Gaskin, Pamela Fay Cardwell, Leigh Ann Barker, David Allen Gaskin, Christopher Chad Lyons, Brittany Meshea Jones, Robert Lee Brown, and Nickie Nichole Brown; 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Brown; two brothers, Garnett Lee and Maxie Lee; and three sisters, Louise Perkins, Ida Hagan, and Nancy Emmitt.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home.
