June 10, 1967         ~         March 15, 2012

Richard Keith Smith, 44, died Thursday, March 15, 2012. He was the son of Lois E. Smith and the late Wilson L. Smith. He was of the Baptist faith and owner and operator of Smith Farms, a lime spreading and boom operating company.

Besides his mother he is survived by one daughter: Heather Brooke Smith; one son: Justin Keith Smith; one brother: Danny E. Smith and his wife Benni; three sisters: Diane S. Harrison, Darlene S. Chapman and her husband Steve and Brenda Lawrence and her husband Timmy; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his father he was preceded in death by one brother: Larry Smith.

Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

    My thoughts and prayers goes to this young mans two children,each time we talked he would immediately start speaking of how proud he was of you two.<May God bless you both and hold you both in his arms to help you through this terrible loss.I will always love this young man,he was getting his life together and was beginning to be himself again.RIP Keith till we all meet again.
