Darlene Medley
November 18, 1950 ~ February 25, 2012
Mollie Darlene Smith Medley, 61, of Glasgow, left this world to be with her sweet Jesus Saturday, February 25, 2012. She was the daughter of the late William Orville Smith and Clara Mae Decker Smith.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 42 years, Gary Medley. Also surviving are her two sons and there wives who meant the world to her, Mike and Carol Medley and Chris and Devonna Medley. Darlene is also survived by her grandchildren who she loved with all her heart. Sydne Medley, Alea Medley, Tyler McCowan, James “Bubba” Settles, Gage Wilson, Kamn Robertson and Xander Robertson. Also surviving are her three sisters, Elizabeth Ann Jackson, Mitchie Brooks and Putchie Garmon. Also a host of nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Bessie Louise Smith.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
I loved her So Much and she’s going to be GREATLY missed. My prayers are with all of you during this sad and difficult time. God Bless…

So sorry to hear this. I haven’t seen Darlene in many, many years, but I did think of her and Gary and remember when we were teen agers just running around town. I remember Darlene as being a very congenial girl. It sounds as though she never changed. I’m sure she will be sorely missed. God Bless Gary and family through this difficult time.

Darlene is one of the sweetest souls I have had the good fortune to have ever met in my journey through life. She and her family have made a great first impression that will last for my lifetime. Many people are going to miss you Darlene, we love you.
