Ruby Abston Cloyd, 89, Glasgow, passed away on December 4, 2011, at Barren County Health Care Center with her daughter at her side. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late James (Milt) Abston and Annie E. Mansfield Abston. The widow of the late Willie T. Cloyd, she was a retired seamstress and a member of the South Green Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter Judy Keith Dugger of Glasgow; one sister, McRea Houchens and husband, Charles, of Haywood; one niece, Sharon Bridges and husband, Frankie, of Glasgow; three nephews, Beau and Kevin Abston of Tennessee, and Brian Abston and wife, Stacie, of Park City; a brother-in-law, Jesse Abney of Glasgow; one step-son, Mitchell Cloyd, of Glasgow.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Robert, and Bill Abston all of Glasgow; two sisters, Sally Henry and Mary Abney of Glasgow; a son-in-law, Mack Dugger of Glasgow; one step-son, Veachel Wayne Cloyd of Scottsville.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
