Thomas Adkins

Thomas Lee Adkins, Jr., 44, Smiths Grove, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Daviess County, he was a son of the late Thomas Lee Adkins and Ruth Ann Roberts Adkins Colvert. He was a master carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie; two sons, Jamie Lee Dugard (Jamie Marie Womack) and Kyle Douglas Dugard (Kelly Rathert); three grandchildren, Jamison Russell Dugard, Dalton Alexander Womack and Brennan Walter Rathert; two sisters, Connie Lane of Yelvington and Donna Hamilton of Beaver Dam; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Adkins chose cremation. Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
I am so sorry , Thomas was a great man!! He had a heart of gold and was just a very unique Man!! Minnie and family , you all are in my prayers !! With time it will be better but I know this time and day it is not.. I have been a family member of Minnie and Thomas. I feel the hurt you all are! I am here for you Minnie , just want you to know that.. We hadn’t talked or seen each other but it was just like yesterday when I did see you guys!! What a tragedy to loose a great husband, brother, father, grandpa, friend!! I love you all and here for you!! Again, I am so so sorry for your loss!!
