Menta “Polly” Keith Renfro, 96, Glasgow, died Thursday, June 02, 2011, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Berry Britt. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bon Ayr Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, G. A. Hawkins and wife, Maxine, of Glasgow; one daughter, Ruenell Kinser and husband, Mickey, of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Kenneth Hawkins and wife, Charolette, and Kelven Hawkins and wife, Kim, all of Glasgow, Kim Propes and husband, Anthony, of Seneca, SC; 6 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three husbands, Irvin Hawkins, Homer Keith, and Clarence Renfro; seven brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

    ed tobacco I remember her and clarece being there and eating Maxines good cooking. We have many fond memories of her and she will be greatly missed by our family. With lots of love.
