Marie Conner, 77, Glasgow, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was a native of Clinton County and was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Dewayne Conner; a daughter-in-law, Anita Conner; three grandchildren, Shelby McCoy, Holly McCoy, and Amber Shipley all of Glasgow; one sister, Eva Stewart; one brother, Roy Stewart both of Albany.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gleason Conner; a son, Darwin Conner; two brothers, Earl Stewart and Robert Stewart.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Lands Chapel Church near Albany with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and from 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

    I do not know but we may be kin. My mother Sarah Conner Brown died in 1990. We live in Horse Cave. My mother and I were born at the War Memorial hospital in Albany. My Grandfather was Thomas N. Conner he had an applaince store in Albany until health reason they moved to Mesa Arizona in 1953..My Grandmother was Ova Ellen Branham Conner she has family there also. My name is Tamara Brown Terry and I know losing your mom is hard my mom was 54 I am 55. My prayers are with you because no matter the age it is hard to lose a parent. The only blood I have left on both sides is mom’s brother Thomas D Conner. He lives in McKee.

    I have an Aunt Marie Conner who grew up in Clinton County, KY. My father is Tom D. Conner and grandfather was Thomas Navarro. I am tamara’s cousin. I am sorry for your loss, she was a great lady. I loved all the stories of my past history. She was a school teacher at one time I believe.
