Larry Dennis Turner, 61, Glasgow, died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Pontiac, Michigan, he was a son of Otis Taylor Turner and Lois Rose Evans, both of whom survive him. He was a union painter, a member of the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades, and a veteran with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Anita; three sons, Jeffrey William Turner, Richard Larry Turner and Mikel Branden Turner; two brothers, James Wayne Turner and his wife, Bobbie, and John Robert Evans; two sisters, Patsy Turner and Deborah Turner; three aunts, Maciva, Pat and Irma; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Father Shannon Collins officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
