Joyce Popken

Joyce Ann Popken, 71, of Glasgow, died Monday, May 23, 2011. She is the daughter of the late Hubert and Bethel Wilson Lewis.
She is survived by her husband John Popken; five children: Stella Michelle Walker, Kent Austin Popken, Kirk Louis Popken, Kimberly Jo Pomales and Stacy Rose Stokluska; two brothers: Brownie Lewis and James Lewis; three sisters: Ruby Opal Tudor, Yvonne Christine and Barbara Runner; Eight grandchildren.
The family has chosen cremation; there will be a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
My dee[est sympathy is with you. Joyce was a wonderful friend to my mother (Jolin) when they both lived in Colorado. I am so thankful that the two of you came to visit mom in Hendersonville while Joyce was able; mom so enjoyed your visit. Joyce will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
