Arvis Eden
June 16, 1963 ~ May 31, 2011
Reed Arvis Eden, 46, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the University Hospital in Louisville. He is the son of Eddie and Cordie York Eden. He was owner of Bluegrass Roofing and an avid fisherman.
Besides his parents he is survived by his children: Chris Eden and Stacie Eden “Cory Case”; three grandchildren: Chandler Kaden Eden, Tyson Eden and Brylee Eden; one brother: Jerry Eden “Sherry”; one sister: Sherrie Meadows; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Cleo and Alma York and Raymond and Elsie Eden.
Funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

I hadn’t seen Arvis since school. We used to cut up and laugh all the time. He was a great guy. I’m so sorry for your loss. Please know that you’re in our prayers.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. He was a wonderful person and always very nice to us. Him and his dad use to come to the pool room alot when we had it. Always laughing and joking. He will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time and alway.

So sorry for your loss, Arvis was one of the best friends I ever had. We went to school together and ran around together. Arvis still come by the house every couple of weeks.
I just had saw Him a few days ago. I will miss Him greatly as I know everyone who knew

Arvis was a great guy so sad to hear this news. We pray for his family that God would comfort them in this time of need. Arvis will always be remembered by many. He was a great friend…God bless
Cordie , Eddie ,Jerry & Sheree. I was shocked to hear the news about Arvis. He was a dear friend to us. When we bought our house ( that needed to be remodled) he was here every day to help. He also came back & put a roof on for us too. anytime we had a problem we called Arvis, he always came. We lost a dear friend, may you find some peace in his passing.
