Beatrice Vaughn Hill, 63, of Glasgow, died Monday, February 28, 2011, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late James L. and Jewell Chapman Vaughn. She was a retired supervisor of housekeeping at Barren County Health Care Center and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Darrell Hill (Carol); two daughters, Teresa Hill Lackey (David), and Callie Hill Jackson (Joe Dale), all of Glasgow; five grandchildren, Melissa Tibbs Rodriguez (Jeremy), Brian Wooten, Amber Wooten, Candace Hill and Courtney Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Jaiden and Daylin Rodriguez; five brothers, James Vaughn (Lisa), Luther Vaughn (Della), Larry Vaughn (Tammy), Gary Vaughn (Lizzie) and Willie Vaughn (Christine); several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Vaughn, and one brother, Michael Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

I am so sorry for your alls loss of your dear Mother, Bea Hill. We know where she is at now and that is an important thing to put your hope and trust in our Lord and Saviour…Jesus!! To you girls Teresa, Callie, and I know there is a son in there somewhere but I have forgotten his him, sorry. But we have known each other for years and I was a close friend to her sister Brenda Vaughn, who I loved dearly as a friend, and of course Scottie Vaughn is my nephew. Just wanted you all to know I care about you and my prayers are with you all. Gods Grace be with you all. I lost my MOM three years ago and I know how hard it is to lose your mother…been there and it is very hard. She is with God in Heaven now and thats a great thing. Love you all, Janice Mills Peden
