Leslie Lambert

Leslie Curtis Lambert, age 80, of Morehead, Kentucky passed on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 under the care of Hospice of Glasgow, Kentucky.  He was born on July 2, 1930 in Rowan County, Kentucky.  He was the son of Delaine (Doc) Lambert and Minnie Moore Lambert of Morehead.

He is survived by two daughter’s, Sheryl Lambert McKinney of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Sandra Lambert Seabrook (husband Baynard Seabrook), of Waynesville, North Carolina.  There are three grandchildren and their spouses, Shannon Seabrook Ourada (Michael Ourada) of Charleston, South Carolina, Eric C. McKinney (Selena McKinney) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jenny S. McKinney of Tulsa, Oklahoma. There are eight great- grandchildren.

He is also survived by two sisters, Maxine James Butcher of Morehead, Kentucky and Florence Lambert Lykins of Frankfort, Kentucky and a brother Edward Lambert of Rosedale, Indiana.

Burial arrangements are not completed at this time.

    I’m so sorry to learn of Curt’s passing. I ministered with a weekly service at the state nursing home for several years. During that time I became aquainted with and very fond of him. He used to share fishing stories with me and was always courteous, friendly and upbeat. I know he will be greatly missed by his family and his friends at the nursing home.
