Flarence Rich

Rutha Flarence Rich, 97, of Big Meadow passed away at her home.  Born June 3, 1913 in Muhlenberg County, she was the daughter of coalminer Tom and Martha Croft.  She moved to Big Meadow Jan 1st 1936.

She is survived by 1 daughter Dean Rich Hurt of Hiseville and 1 son Jim Rich of Big Meadow; 4 grandsons Bill Froggett, Freddy Findley, Wayne Hurt, and John Froggett; 2 granddaughters, Diane White and Gina Rich; 5 great grandsons Keith, Greg, Scott, James Russell and Jess; 7 great granddaughters Amie, Amanda, Natasha, Haley, Ana Kate, Madison, Leah Carol; 5 great-great grandsons, 5 great-great granddaughters and 1 sister Agnes Pitcock.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Doc Rich of Big Meadow, 2 daughters Cassie Howard and Ruby Findley, 1 granddaughter Ruth Karen Shultz, and 1 grandson Jesse Froggett.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4pm Saturday at the funeral home.
