Lillie Wilborn

Lillie B. Wilborn, 70, Glasgow, died Tuesday, December 07, 2010, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Metcalfe County, she was the daughter of the late Josh Wilson Hurt and Polly Belle Nance Hurt. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Glasgow Foods.

Survivors include two sons, Ricky Wilson and wife, Shirley, and Richard Wilson and wife, Barbara, all of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Chassedy Wilson, Jaime Forrest (Dustin), and Christopher Wilson; two-step-grandchildren, Taylor Cary and Brandi Cary; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Bunch, Austin Cross and Aiden Forrest; two brothers, J.R. Hurt and Gene Hurt both of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Hurt.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

    Miss Lillie was a blessing to be around she always came to see us we was Neighbors at Mayfield Plaza and my grand son loved to see Miss Lillie come over with her treats for him God Bless the Family of Miss Lillie she will be missed at Mayfield Plaza by all of us.

    I was a neighbor of Lillie’s. She was the only person who lived there that actually treated me like I was a person. I really thought a lot of Lillie. I will surely miss her. She was one of a kind. My prayers are with the family. RIP Lillie.

    Ricky and family, I was so sorry to hear about your mom. She was always very nice to me and made me feel welcome at your home. Made great chocolate gravy too. I wanted to express my sympathy to you all. I didn’t realize until late today (Friday) that she had passed away when my Mom told me. Would love to have come to the funeral.
