  7. John and Jeanne White says:

    Sam, Carolyn, and family,
Words cannot express the sadness I feel. I feel that the families of the Galloways and Dickinsons have been intertwined for years. All through their adult years, and even when they were younger, J. B. and Bernella and my parents, Selma and Lewis Dickinson, shared good times at church, school, and with their supper club. Through the same connections, we children learned to know our parents friends and their children as part of our circle of community. My parents loved Sandy as one of their own and were pleased to have her skills as a medical technician at the “office” and to enjoy her occasional company when she lived for a while in an apartment in their home. I think Sandy and my mother shared a special bond, particularly after Bernie died. I want to extend my deepest sympathy in your loss of a dear wife, mother, and family member who was a friend of so many. Although I have not lived in Glasgow for many years, Sandy and I stayed in touch, and I feel privileged to have known her as a friend. Jeanne (Dickinson) White

    Dear Sam, Carolyn and family,
Sandy was a dear, sweet friend for many years and I share many of Jean White’s sentiments in that our parents were friends in their supper club, church, school and community. We children, too, created strong bonds. I hold fond memories from all those wonderful shared times in my heart. You have been in my thoughts and prayers for these many months and I hope that you will find comfort in the large circle of people who now embrace you.
Special love to all of you. Mary Louise (Crouch) Sawyer
