I am so sorry to lose Opal but am thankful that I was able to visit with her this summer. She had the greatest sense of humor and always made me laugh. I can recall and laugh about things she said years after the fact.

One trip I made to Glasgow, Daddy (James) drove the sisters and me all around their “stomping grounds”. What a fun time. They told story after story about their childhood, which was precious to me. We all ended up at Opal’s for lunch. A wonderful time for me to remembe

You are in my prayers. Love, June Morrison Madison

I am sad to learn about Aunt Opal.

Living so far away did not allow me to know my Glasgow family the way I would have wanted , but that does not diminish my love for all my family. I miss everyone greatly and will always remember the great Christmas visits with Opal and Gatewood as well as all the other aunts, uncles, and cousins!
